Pre-Adoption Support
It is all too common for puppy seekers to find the cutest pup in the litter or shelter without realizing who that pup will grow into. Every dog is born with a certain temperament, and every litter of puppies has pups of different temperaments. Certain breeds are also more prone to different behavioral issues and/or health issues and require diligent research to thoroughly understand if they are right for you and your family. Without professional guidance, it can be hard to know what to look for in a puppy to ensure they will be a good fit for you. Through my pre-adoption support, I can guide you through every step!
What’s Included
With purchase of a training program, you will receive:
Initial 30-minute consulting call
Up to 3 visits to breeders and/or shelters to meet puppies with you
List of recommendations on food, toys, crate/crate setup, and other tools to help your puppy get acclimated to their new home
Puppy Training Packages
Welcome Home Program
This program is perfect for puppies 8-12 weeks old who have just come to their new home and are starting to acclimate to their new life. With lessons every other week, your program will span a period of 12 weeks. This allows you to receive support throughout crucial stages of puppyhood that can also be the hardest.
6 private lessons every other week
Socialization around dogs, people, sounds, objects, etc.
Establishing routines for feeding, crating, pottying, exercise, and rest
Potty training
Crate training
Play and how it impacts fulfillment
Basic manners like impulse control, respecting boundaries, etc.

8, 10, and 12 Week Puppy Programs
The 8, 10, and 12 week puppy programs are perfect for puppies who have been home for some time and are older than 12 weeks and younger than 5 months. Starting training during this time period will allow your program to run through puppyhood into adulthood, where problem behaviors can start to arise.
