Why should I work with a professional dog trainer?
With the vast amount of content online, there is no shortage of videos claiming to “fix your dog’s bad behavior fast.” While these videos can provide helpful advice, they lack real-time insight into the dog in front of you. There is no substitute for a real human with years of experience coaching you along the way. Dog trainers dedicate thousands of hours to the art of dog training and can provide valuable insight that is unknown to the general public. It is important to find a trainer who is the right fit for you and your family (even if that trainer is not me!)

Will my dog lose their personality as a result of training?
Far from it! In fact, your dog’s true personality may be buried under the bad habits they’ve formed. Proper training reveals their true personality and makes them more themselves!
-
How much does dog training cost?
Dog training is an investment. The money you spend now may actually save you more than waiting because your dog will not “grow out” of his behavioral issues. Due to my customized approach, the cost of training varies based on your dog’s individual needs. Schedule a free evaluation to get a price quote.
-
What kinds of training tools do you use?
In short, I use whatever tool the dog and owner need. I use slip leads, prong collars, e-collars, treats, toys, and more. When used properly, these tools add clarity in communication with dogs.

Do you work with aggressive dogs?
Contrary to popular belief, true aggression in dogs is rare. What we as humans may perceive as aggression is often fear, anxiety, lack of fulfillment, pain, or even nutritional deficiencies. Scheduling a free consultation here will help me determine if I am the right fit for your and your dog.

How long will it take to train my dog?
The length of time it will take to achieve your training goals is dependent upon the severity of your dog’s behavioral issues. It also is greatly dependent upon your commitment to upholding good habits during and after the training process. Time frames can range anywhere from 2 lessons to 12 lessons.
