About Me
Miranda’s journey in the dog training world began when she and her wife, Ashley, rescued their husky, Joey, from a gas station in Rawlins, Wyoming. After adopting her from the shelter, Miranda fell in love with the process of building her relationship with Joey and getting to know her goofy, independent, and loving personality. She found she had a natural gift working with dogs, and after months of soaking in as much information as she could on her own, she decided to pursue a career in dog training.
Miranda began professionally training dogs in the fall of 2023, where she gained valuable experience in shaping confident, well-behaved dogs and equipping their owners to be successful for the long haul. She specializes in fearful and anxious rescue dogs,
She specializes in fearful and anxious rescue dogs, reactivity, and human/canine relationships. Miranda brings a fresh training style to her clients, prioritizing play over treats, freedom over confinement, and clarity over rigidity.
When not working with clients, Miranda enjoys fly fishing nearby rivers and spending time with her wife and their dog. As a family, they enjoy exploring local coffee shops and bookstores and are always in the mood for a good movie and an ice cream outing.
